Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This policy explains how Inautec GmbH processes personal data when you visit inautec.ch, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

Inautec GmbH
Verenastrasse 37, 8832 Wollerau, Switzerland
Email: info@inautec.ch · Phone: +41 44 786 92 92
UID: CHE-110.120.474

For any question about this policy or your personal data, please contact us at the address above.

2. Our approach

This is a static information website. We keep data collection to a minimum: there are no user accounts, no online shop, no newsletter, and no advertising. We do not use analytics or tracking, and we do not set tracking cookies.

3. What we process

3.1 Server log files

When you open the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical information in server log files: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system (user agent). This is necessary to deliver the website reliably and to maintain its stability and security. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 31 FADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are stored only for a limited period and then deleted.

3.2 Contacting us

Our contact form does not send data to our server. When you submit it, it simply opens a pre-filled message in your own email program, and you decide whether to send it. If you contact us — by the form, by email, or by phone — we receive the information you provide (typically your name, email address and the content of your message) and use it solely to handle your enquiry and any related follow-up. Legal basis: steps taken at your request and our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 31 FADP; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We retain such correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet any legal retention obligations.

3.3 Preferences stored on your device

We store your language and light/dark-mode choices locally in your browser (using localStorage). This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not used to identify or track you. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set tracking cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Because we only store the functional preferences described above on your device, no cookie-consent banner is required.

5. Third-party content and external links

All resources needed to display the site — fonts, scripts, stylesheets and images — are hosted on our own server. Loading the website therefore does not transmit your data to any third party. The contact section shows a static map image that links to Google Maps; Google only receives data if you choose to click that link and open Google Maps, where Google's own privacy policy applies.

6. Hosting and recipients

Our website is hosted by IONOS (1&1 IONOS SE, Germany), which processes the server-log data described in section 3.1 on our behalf as a processor, under a data-processing agreement, on servers located in the EU. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties, except where we are legally required to do so.

7. International transfers

Our hosting is located in the EU/EEA, which offers an adequate level of data protection. We do not otherwise transfer your personal data abroad. (If you click the Google Maps link, data is transferred to Google under its own terms.)

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Server logs are kept short-term (see 3.1); email correspondence is kept for the duration of your enquiry and any applicable statutory retention periods.

9. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the right to information about and access to your personal data, and to its rectification, erasure or restriction, as well as the right to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us at info@inautec.ch.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch); in the EU/EEA, your local data protection authority.

10. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (TLS/HTTPS) transmission, to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Please note that no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to legal requirements. The current version, with the date shown above, always applies.
